Brad Hunter directs Metrostudy’s consulting work nationwide. He and his team complete between 250 and 300 site-specific market studies each year. Metrostudy’s unmatched supply/demand database provides the quantitative foundation for the firm’s consulting and advisory work. The group’s client list includes major builders, investment firms and funds, land developers, and banks.
Hunter has recently led studies on the recent mergers and acquisitions in the homebuilder world, analyzed portfolios of residential deals, and advised builders, developers, and investors as to which markets and submarkets will best fit their strategic goals. He and his team recently completed a forecast of absorption, home prices, and land value on a 10,000+ unit master-planned community.
With 28 years worth of experience in real estate analysis and local market economic forecasting, Hunter is a Full Member of the Urban Land Institute, where he serves on the Community Development Council. He has authored numerous articles and chapters in books for ULI. He is regularly cited in local and national journals, and has recently been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Business Week, and on CNBC and Bloomberg TV. He graduated in 1985 from the Wharton School, and has been a guest lecturer at Harvard University.
