Director of Consulting

Tom Hayden has over 18 years of market research and analysis experience in the real estate/economic industry, serving clients throughout the U.S. in 14 states and more than 55 metro areas, with specific attention to markets along the Colorado Front Range, as well as those in Southern California, Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico. Tom has consulted on a wide array of residential development including mixed-use master planned communities, golf course communities, age-targeted, rental housing and condominium conversion, in-fill development, mountain and oceanic resorts, custom lots, and downtown adaptive reuse. As Metrostudy’s National Director of Consulting, he has directed Metrostudy consulting operations throughout the United States, building the national platform and growing the business. His consulting work regularly involves strategic planning, market and financial feasibility, economic and demographic forecasting, product positioning and planning, consumer analysis, absorption modeling, as well as overall market evaluation and opportunity analysis.  Prior to joining Metrostudy in 2006, Tom held various analytical and managerial positions with Meyers Group (also acquired by Hanley Wood), working from the Denver, San Diego and Costa Mesa offices. He is a graduate of Colorado State University, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Organizational Management, as well as a minor in Political Science. He is affiliated with many industry associations and has served on numerous committees and groups including the Urban Land Institute, the Colorado Association of Home Builders, and the Downtown Denver Partnership.
