David Brown is Director of the Dallas/Fort Worth office of Metrostudy. Mr. Brown is a 1984 graduate of the Business School of the University of Texas at Austin, Texas; majoring in Real Estate and Finance. He has 25 years experience in the real estate industry including consulting, banking, and appraisal. He has consulted with his clients on a wide range of property types through out the country including major masterplanned communities, mixed-use developments, regional malls, golf courses, and resort properties. Mr. Brown is a licensed real estate broker and holds the MAI and SRA designations with the Appraisal Institute. He brought into the firm a thorough knowledge of commercial and residential real estate market and financial analysis.

Prior to joining Metrostudy, Mr. Brown served as President of Landmark Advisory Group providing due diligence, market and financial analysis, underwriting, appraisals, brokerage, and other real estate services. While at Landmark Advisory Group he assisted in the sale of a 1,200 acre master planned community in Houston, Texas and performed financial analysis of a proposed 20,000 acre residential development as part of a strategic planning exercise. Mr. Brown previously served as Senior Manager in Ernst &Young LLP's Real Estate Advisory Services for eight years, where he led the capital markets practice in the Dallas office. He was involved with private equity placements, portfolio dispositions, site selection, due diligence activities, cash flow analysis, and market and financial analysis. Mr. Brown also served as Vice President with First City, Texas, a regional Texas bank, from 1989 to 1993. He began his career in 1984 with a boutique real estate appraisal and consulting firm.
