John Covert played a pivotal role in the launch of Metrostudy's office in the Denver/Colorado Springs market during the fall of 2001, and is responsible for all operations there including surveying, consulting and managing local client relationships.

Prior to joining Metrostudy, John was the research manager for the Denver and Salt Lake offices of a real estate market research firm. From 1996 to 1999, as of the Colorado Municipal League, John worked on behalf of Colorado's cities in the areas of land use and telecommunications, as well as membership development and leadership training. John also worked for the City of Arvada Planning Office and the Parks & Recreation Planning office of the City & County of Denver. John has a Bachelor's Degree in urban land use from Metropolitan State College of Denver and Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing from Regis University.
