Ben Sage, Director of Metrostudy’s Arizona Region, has been researching and analyzing housing markets since 1994, when he first joined Metrostudy. He regularly meets and consults with many of the top homebuilders in Phoenix and Tucson as well as with lenders, developers, investors, and utilities concerning trends in the local economy and their effect on the real estate market.
Prior to opening the Arizona office, he worked with the company in Chicago and Houston where he prepared hundreds of market studies for nearly every type of residential development, as well as retail projects. Furthermore, Ben is a regular contributor to the Trend Report, a Tucson real estate industry newsletter, and he is a member of the Arizona Economic Roundtable. He has also been a resource for such publications as the Arizona Republic, East Valley Tribune, Phoenix Business Journal, Inside Tucson Business, Arizona Daily Star, Arizona Builder Magazine, Bloomberg News, and the Wall Street Journal.
Ben is a graduate of Baylor University, and he is active in industry events hosted by the Urban Land Institute, Homebuilders Association of Central Arizona, Southern Arizona Homebuilders Association, and Valley Partnership.
