Metrostudy Launches Enhanced Consumer Segmentation Model for OnTarget Platform

Metrostudy is excited to announce the expansion of our consumer segmentation model to illuminate the 14 key consumer groups for the housing industry. We refined and enriched our classic groups in order to deliver even greater clarity into homebuyer preferences. With our new groups, you get a more nuanced understanding of local market household distribution and formation potential, and enjoy the ability to target consumers more precisely.

Metrostudy’s housing consumer segments are built using demographics, life stage intelligence, and consumer behaviors. You and your peers are using consumer segmentation data to know who your best customers are, know where to find them, and know how to reach them with the right messaging to drive engagement.   1. Metrosearch users can view the new consumer segments in Housing Analysis and Property Analysis reports now! Watch a quick video on how to get these reports.
  2. Analytics users can access the new segments in the Home Closings Cube using the Consumer Group dimension. Note that, if you have saved reports that include the Consumer Group dimension, to view the new consumer segments in your report, you must remove the Consumer Group dimension from the report canvas and then drag it back onto the canvas. If you don’t know how to do this, please contact support and we will be happy to walk you through it – it’s quick and easy!
