Director Business Development
Mike has 25+ years of real estate information experience in the residential and commercial real estate industry. He has a unique background with detailed knowledge of the research and analysis side of the business combined with proven track record of delivering top sales volume. He has been an innovator in the collection and delivery of real estate information in the industry. Mike was the founder and created Atlanta’s first ever online source for comprehensive real estate information in 1991. Real Estate Data Concepts (REDC) was one of the first companies to ever deliver a combination of ownership tax records, deed information, foreclosure data through an online platform. After selling that company he then spent 5 years with Comps Inc. as the Southeast Sales Director launching a dozen markets across the nation prior to its sale to Costar in 2000. His entrepreneurial background led Mike to start up yet another real estate data company, DataBrokers, a comprehensive real estate information portal focused on residential and commercial real estate data companies that lacked an online presence and helped transform those companies from a hard copy business to delivering their content through the Internet efficiently and profitably. Databrokers later merged with Dorey’s First CLS, Inc in 2001 where Mike became the Senior Vice President. Mike also had a brief stint with Costar after they acquired Dorey’s FirstCLS in 2008. In 2010, Mike joined Hanley Wood Market Intelligence as a Director of Strategic Accounts and worked with the nation’s top builders across the country. Mike joined Xceligent in 2011 and spent nearly 4 years as Regional Director overseeing the launch and ongoing operations in Atlanta for Xceligent, a leading provider of commercial real estate information. Currently Mike is the Director of Business Development for Metrostudy, a Hanley Wood company covering Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi.
